How DRAGON FORGE GAMES LLC collects, uses and protects personal information on playoldenera.com, in the Olden Era beta and in our emails with players.

Last updated October 26, 2026

1. Who we are

Olden Era is developed and published by DRAGON FORGE GAMES LLC, 75664 Spoonbill Lane, Yulee, FL 32097, USA. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact our privacy team at admin@oldenera.dev or by phone at +1 (206) 465-0993.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details you send us when you request a beta key or write to us: your email address, name if given, and anything you include in your message.
  • Website data recorded automatically by our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page and time of visit.
  • Beta game data, if you join the beta: an account ID, display name, match results, deck lists, crash reports and basic hardware information (operating system, graphics card, memory) used to fix bugs and balance the game.
  • Cookie data: your cookie choice and, only with consent, analytics data.

We do not collect payment information on this website, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data.

3. How we use it

  • to send beta keys, patch notes for the beta wave you joined, and replies to your messages;
  • to run, secure and improve the website and the game;
  • to operate the Crown Tourney: matchmaking, brackets, leaderboards and preventing cheating;
  • to analyse crashes and balance cards;
  • to meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the beta and tourney), legitimate interests (security, anti-cheat, improving the game), consent (marketing emails and analytics cookies) and legal obligation.

4. What other players can see

In the Crown Tourney, your display name, warlord, rank and match results are visible to other players and may appear on public leaderboards and in final broadcasts. Choose a display name that does not reveal your real identity if you prefer.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with service providers that host our servers, send email and process crash reports under contract; with authorities when the law requires it; and with a successor if the studio or the game is acquired, under this same policy.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our servers are in the US and the EU. When we transfer data of people in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland to the US, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where available, or on Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

  • Beta email list: until you unsubscribe or the beta ends, plus 30 days.
  • Game accounts and match history: while your account is active and for 12 months after it is closed, so leaderboards stay consistent.
  • Crash reports: 12 months.
  • Server logs: 30 days.
  • Correspondence: up to three years.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections, restrict access to people who need it and protect accounts with two-factor authentication. If a breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. EU and UK residents may complain to their data protection authority.

Residents of Washington, California, Colorado, Oregon, Texas and other US states with consumer privacy laws have rights to know, access, correct and delete personal data and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. We do not sell data or use it for targeted advertising. Under Washington's My Health My Data Act we confirm that we do not collect consumer health data.

Send requests to admin@oldenera.dev. We will verify the request and answer within 30 days (45 days where state law allows). You can appeal a refusal by replying “Appeal”.

10. Children

Olden Era is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Players in the EU must be at least 16, or have a parent's consent where national law allows a lower age. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We will post updates here and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will email the beta list before it takes effect.
