Terms of service

1. Agreement

By using the website or the beta you accept these terms. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, your parent or guardian must agree to them for you.

2. The closed beta

The beta is a pre-release test. Features, cards, balance and progress may change or be reset at any time, including at the end of the beta. We may end your access to the beta, or the beta itself, at any time. Beta keys are personal and may not be sold or transferred.

3. Licence

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the beta for your own non-commercial use. All rights in the game, its code, art, cards, names and music belong to DRAGON FORGE GAMES LLC or its licensors.

4. Your account

Keep your login details secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. Display names must not impersonate others or be offensive; we may change or remove names that are.

5. Fair play

• No cheating, bots, exploits, macros or modified clients.
• No match fixing, account sharing or deliberately losing in the Crown Tourney.
• No harassment, hate speech or threats towards other players or staff.
• No reverse engineering, except where the law allows it.
• Report bugs to us instead of exploiting them.

Breaking these rules can lead to warnings, rank resets, tourney disqualification or account bans.

6. Crown Tourney

Tourney results, ranks and titles are for recognition only. During the beta there are no cash prizes and no entry fees. If we ever introduce prizes, separate official rules will apply and will be published before entries open.

7. No purchases during the beta

The beta is free. Nothing can be bought in it. If paid features are introduced after release, they will be cosmetic only and covered by separate terms.

8. Feedback and content

If you send feedback, ideas, deck lists or videos, you allow us to use them to improve and promote the game, without payment, while you keep any rights you have in them. Please do not send anything you are not allowed to share.

9. Streaming and videos

You may stream and post videos of the beta and earn money from them through the usual platform programmes, as long as you show that the game is in beta and do not leak unreleased content we ask you to keep private.

10. Disclaimer

The website and beta are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Beta software may contain bugs that cause crashes or data loss.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DRAGON FORGE GAMES LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or loss of data. Because the beta is free, our total liability is limited to US$50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your rights as a consumer.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts in King County, Washington, unless the consumer law of your country gives you the right to sue where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.

13. Copyright notices

If you believe content on our website or in the game infringes your rights, send a notice with your contact details, the work, the location of the material and a good-faith statement to admin@oldenera.dev.

14. Changes and contact
